Place Of Use

Tin is extracted from PC boards using a smelting system, in which the PC boards are burned at a very high temperature in a furnace (approximately 1200℃) and the exhaust gas must be treated through an exhaust system. The exhaust system consists of exhaust pipes and scrubbers. These pipes must be able to withstand high-temperature (200℃) exhaust gas containing fluoride and HNO3. After leaving the pipeline, the exhaust gas enters the dust collection box, where the dust and gas are completely separated. Then the exhaust gas flow enters the scrubber at a temperature of 70 to 80 degrees Celsius. The waste gas is washed with NaOH solution (pH9) in the scrubber tower.

Using Materials

In this exhaust system, all the exhaust pipes are made of phenolic resin and lined with SWANCOR 900, while the scrubbers are entirely made of SWANCOR 900.
